Congratulations! In this learning path, you have learned how to start, configure and optimize an HPC Cluster in AWS. In this module, you’ll learn how to clean up your AWS account and find advanced HPC resources.
- Options to terminate resources
- Further resources
After you are done with your workload, it is best practice to terminate resources you are no longer using to avoid unnecessary charges.
In this learning path, you have two options to terminate resources:
- The first option is to terminate all the resources you created by deleting both the main stack and the default cluster.
- The second option is to terminate the default cluster only, and leave the main stack intact. The main stack can host multiple AWS ParallelClusters, and because it creates both the AWS Directory Service and Elastic File System, it persists both data and authentication credentials. This means that the cluster Stack can be removed without impact to the main Stack, and a new one can be re-created at a later time.
Choose the option you prefer, and follow the instructions below to terminate your resources:
Now that you have created your first HPC Environment and learned about the basics of HPC on AWS, learn how to create more sophisitcated environments with our curated videos, whitepapers, tutorials, and toolkits.
