Amazon WorkSpaces now supports copying Images across AWS Regions

You can now copy your Amazon WorkSpaces Images across AWS Regions. Using the same Image across Regions makes it simpler to manage global deployment of WorkSpaces while improving consistency, compliance, and security of your WorkSpaces.

To copy an Image to another Region, launch the WorkSpaces console and select the Region that contains your existing Image. In the navigation pane, choose Images, select your existing Image, click Actions, select Copy Image, and then pick your target AWS Region. You can also use the CopyWorkspaceImage API to programmatically copy Images.

Copying of WorkSpaces Images is available in all AWS Regions where WorkSpaces is available. To learn more, visit the WorkSpaces page.
