The AWS Serverless Application Repository is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) region. The addition of the AWS GovCloud (US-West) region increases the availability of the AWS Serverless Application Repository, which offers region support for Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo), Canada (Central), EU (Frankfurt, Ireland, London, Paris, Stockholm), South America (São Paulo), US West (N. California, Oregon), and US East (N. Virginia, Ohio). The AWS Serverless Application Repository is available in 17 regions.

The Serverless Application Repository enables you to eliminate the tasks of cloning, building, packaging, and publishing source code to AWS before deploying it. Using the Serverless Application Repository, you can add pre-built applications to your serverless architecture definition to reduce duplicate work, improve organizational best practices for serverless architectures, and get to market faster. The Serverless Application Repository enables teams, organizations, and individual developers to share applications publicly or privately with specified AWS accounts.

To get started, define your application using the AWS Serverless Application Model (AWS SAM) and share your applications using the AWS Command Line Interface or the AWS Management Console. For more details, visit the Serverless Application Repository documentation.
