Arvind's AWS goals
Arvind joined AWS as an Enterprise Strategist in February 2024. In this role, he is on a mission to help AWS's customers think bigger, move faster, and benefit from his experience driving change and transformation across diverse businesses.
Arvind's beginnings
Before joining AWS, Arvind was a Digital Leader/CIO at leading companies like Kellogg's, Prudential Assurance, and Procter & Gamble, with 27 years of overall experience in enterprise technology. Across those diverse companies, Arvind delivered business transformations that step-changed areas like data-driven decision-making, customer engagement & loyalty, marketing & digital channels, manufacturing & supply chain, retail sales & distribution, insurance underwriting & claims, shared services, quality & compliance, cybersecurity, and core enterprise systems.
Arvind's expertise
While businesses and goals have been different, Arvind navigated common themes in most transformations around driving clarity on vision and direction, forging cross-functional alignments and partnerships, and building new ways of working and organizational capabilities in IT and functional teams to innovate and drive change while delivering the base.
Arvind's global experience
Arvind has been an active member of the CIO/CTO community in the region - learning and sharing insights with peers in the industry. He was recognized in the World CIO 200 awards in 2019 and 2023 and as a Top 100 Fintech Influencer in 2019. Arvind holds an MBA in Finance and is an Industrial Engineer by training. An Indian citizen, he has lived and worked in India, the Philippines, and the US, and currently resides in Singapore with his family.
