This is the official Alfresco 3.2 Community Edition Amazon EC2 image produced by Alfresco Software, Inc. Alfresco is an open source Enterprise Content Management System (ECM) supporting Document Management, Web Content Management and Collaboration. This AMI is built on Ubuntu 9.10 Beta and leverages the Alfresco package from the Canonical partner repository.

Official Alfresco 3.2 Community Edition Amazon EC2 Image

This is the official Alfresco 3.2 Community Edition built on Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) and includes Document Management, Collaboration, Records Management, Sharepoint Protocol and the Mobile client.

Alfresco has released this image to encourage developers to build cloud-ready content applications that leverage Alfresco's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) features and standard API's such as Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS).

32 and 64-bit images are available for both US and EU regions. Once instantiated, it can take up to 10 minutes for the Alfresco instance to start.

To access the Alfresco server, simply point your browser to the external IP or public DNS name of your new instance. A welcome screen will direct you to the Alfresco Explorer or Alfresco Share user interfaces.

SECURITY NOTE: The default login and password is "admin". Please change it as soon as possible through the Alfresco Admin Console.
