The APN Training Partner Program is part of the AWS Partner Network (APN), the global partner program for Amazon Web Services (AWS). The AWS Partner Network allows customers to easily identify APN Partners that provide training which will enhance their knowledge of the AWS platform, while providing members of the APN Partner ecosystem with the business, technical, marketing, and go-to-market support they need to build a successful business on AWS.


The program is designed for training organizations with a proven and reliable history in technical training. As part of the program, APN Training Partners deliver official AWS training to accelerate proficiency working with AWS services.

The APN Training Partner (ATP) Program is part of the AWS Partner Network (APN), the global partner program for Amazon Web Services (AWS). APN Training Partner Validation

Complete self-assessment using the APN Training Partner Program Validation Checklist, including:

  • A signifigant focus on training
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • At least 1,000 students trained per year
  • A dedicated sales team

We are looking for training organizations who meet and surpass our high standards for the program. All prospective APN Training Partners must fulfill all the requirements on the APN Training Partner Program Checklist:
  • A focus on training as a signifigant percentage of your business
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Training with leading Cloud providers
  • An annual threshold of at least 1000 students trained via Instructor-Led Training
  • A dedicated sales team focused on IT Training
  • A commitment to train and keep at least 1 AWS Authorized Instructor on staff at all times. Each AWS Authorized Instructor must deliver a minimum of 6 AWS training classes each calendar year.
  • A commitment to keeping your AWS Authorized Instructors knowledgeable and current on AWS services by passing AWS Certification exams

Please note: We are not currently accepting further APN Training Partners for the region of North America or Europe. AWS Training and Certification will reach out to applicants, if they fulfill all the requirements on the APN Training Partner Program Checklist, who we feel would be a good fit for the program.

This application should be submitted by and contain the contact information for the person who will serve as the main point of contact between their company and the APN Training Partner Program. After receiving your application, AWS Training and Certification will reach out to applicants, if they fulfill all the requirements on the APN Training Partner Program Checklist, who we feel would be a good fit for the program. Please submit your application through the Training and Certification Contact Us Form and include the following information:

  • How many years of training experience do you have?
  • What other vendor training do you currently offer?
  • How many students do you train per year?
  • Company website URL

Please note: We are not currently accepting further APN Training Partners for the region of North America or Europe.

After your application has been accepted, as part of onboarding as an APN Training Partner, you will register as a Consulting Partner with the AWS Partner Network (APN) and upgrade to the Standard Tier. Being an existing APN Partner does not guarantee acceptance into the APN Training Partner Program. Follow the steps below to complete APN registration and receive access to the APN Portal.

  • APN Consulting Partner Registration: Register your firm at no cost via the APN Consulting Partner Registration
  • Log in to the APN Portal: Once registered, your firm will receive an email with your APN Portal login credentials and temporary password. Using those credentials, log in to the APN Portal
  • Add Portal Users: To add APN Portal users from your firm, send the APN Portal Self-Registration link to activate their logins
  • Update Partner Scorecard: Track your firm’s AWS success (customer wins, training, etc.) via your Partner Scorecard in the APN Portal
