I want to change the email address that’s associated with the root login of my account, and where all my account-related correspondence is sent. How do I do that?

You can update the email address associated with an AWS account in the Billing and Cost Management console by following the instructions at Managing an AWS Account.

Note: You can only change the root email address associated with an AWS account when you're signed in as the root user. If you sign in to an account as an IAM user and you want to change your user name, contact your account administrator and ask them to follow the instructions at Renaming an IAM User.
