I would like to modify the IP address range of my VPC or subnet in my VPC. How can I do this?

The Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) range of a VPC or subnet is set when the VPC or subnet is created. Sometimes it may be necessary to change the address range.

The IP address range of a VPC or subnet cannot be modified after the VPC has been created. You must delete the subnet or the VPC and subnet and then create a new subnet or VPC and subnet with the appropriate address ranges.

Before deleting the VPC or subnet, be sure to create Amazon Machine Images or snapshots of existing resources as necessary, and then delete all the underlying resources in the VPC or subnet.
