It automatically collects, organizes, and analyzes all business transaction data processed by application servers, and presents only the relevant data in a meaningful, easy-to-consume format for application operations teams, enabling rapid problem detection and isolation. With BMC Application Diagnostics you can monitor applications deployed in large scale cloud environments with thousands of application servers. You can also rapidly deploy application agents within a few minutes, and start monitoring your applications and business transactions automatically without any configuration required.

Usage Instructions

Launch the Application Diagnostic AMI using the EC2 Console or API.

To launch Application Diagnostic AMI
1) Ensure you have an AWS IAM user account with the appropriate access
2) Launch the Application Diagnostic AMI using the AWS Console or AWS API/CLI.
3) Once the instance has launched, connect to the Application Diagnostic console via a browser using the public DNS name: https://<DNS-hostname>/Console *
4) You will need to download Application Diagnostic agents from BMC's Electronic Product Distribution: http://www.bmc.com/available/epd.html *
5) Install agents per instruction that came with the agent binary and use the AMI's public DNS-hostname in the connection URL
