dnsfly virtual DNS Appliance version 4.2.0

dnsfly is an enterprise-class solution for DNS management, built expressly to meet the demands of a virtual DNS appliance, namely security, resilience, and speed. dnsfly improves security and uptime of network applications and makes administration faster and easier, simplifying the provisioning of hosts and IP addresses.
Easy to Use
dnsflys graphical user interface makes managing DNS fast and easy. Without dnsfly, administration of DNS requires manually editing lines of code and working with internal operating system commands to update, patch, secure and monitor logs. This is a slow, tedious, and error-prone process, and requires LINUX proficiency. Instead, dnsfly allows administrators to create zones and add resource records in a few clicks.
Secure
dnsfly is built for security. DNS security is the most critical component of Cloud security for virtualized infrastructure and applications. dnsfly is continuously updated to provide latest patches and updates. dnsfly is deployed with default recursions off to reduce unauthorized recursive queries. dnsfly runs only necessary services within the operating system. DNSSEC signed zones help protect DNS from being exploited. Role-based access gives more granular access control to individual zones.
Eliminate Unreachable Servers on AWS EC2
dnsfly can configure dynamic zones with private IP to name relationships for all application and DB instances, creating IP persistence for AWS EC2 instance restarts.

Amazon EC2 running Red Hat Enterprise Linux provides a dependable platform to deploy a broad range of applications. By running RHEL on EC2, you can leverage the cost effectiveness, scalability and flexibility of Amazon EC2, the proven reliability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and AWS premium support with back-line support from Red Hat.
