The Transformer AMI is the BASIS Product Suite pre-installed on an AMI, ready for your applications, data, and configuration. The BASIS Product Suite is everything you need to develop, deploy, and run custom software for business. The BASIS Product Suite consists of BBj, the Barista RAD tool, and the AddonSoftware ERP. BBj is a powerful interpreted language, database management system, web server, and enterprise client-server system, allowing applications to be easily delivered, running embedded in a browser, or as a GUI Thin Client via Java Web Start, or in a character-based terminal, or even as a web service! Barista is a robust database-oriented GUI RAD platform that also functions as an end-user runtime environment. AddonSoftware ERP is a customizable ERP business solution that runs on Barista and offers customizable packages for accounting, distribution, and manufacturing.
The Transformer AMI also includes duplicity for backing up your data to S3 and nagios for system monitoring. All products included on the AMI may require additional configuration to suit your organizations needs.
