This stack provides a pre-loaded Ubuntu server with PostgreSQL. It includes PostgreSQL 9.3 on Ubuntu 12.04.

It has many years of active development and a proven architecture that has earned it a strong reputation for reliability, data integrity, and correctness. PostgreSQL derives from the POSTGRES package written at the University of California at Berkeley. It is one of the most advanced databases available anywhere, open source or otherwise.
