This AMI includes Melio with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server. Melio allows AWS customers to cluster SQL Server for high availability, while also enabling policy-based workload distribution across the cluster at the database or database group level. Melio is designed to be deployed as a multi-instance cluster within a VPC, using shared block storage such Zadara, NetApp, or the internal storage of multiple EC2 instances managed by Melio's software-defined storage features.
