Skyhook by Aviatrix (this AMI) launches an Aviatrix controller in a VPC instance. It provisions and configures an Aviatrix VPN Gateway that enables users to access containers in a Docker swarm cluster. Leveraging the encrypted peering capability by Aviatrix gateway, the swarm cluster can span regions in AWS, Azure and Google.

Skyhook by Aviatrix can be used for the following use cases:

• User access into container clusters that span hosts and cloud regions - Centrally Managed SSL VPN solution that provides DevOps access into Docker Swarm clusters running anywhere on AWS, Azure and Google.
• Use Developer tools on a laptop to run command line utilities on Docker containers without resorting to "docker exec" type of commands.
• No public facing IPs for access to containers - fully secure private network from user devices directly to Docker containers.
• Multi Factor authentication (Okta, Duo and LDAP/AD) and User Profiles for access control.
