The Anitian PCI Hardened Amazon Linux with Apache AMI contains a base installation of Amazon Linux 2018.03 that has been hardened by security professionals to meet the rigorous standards of the PCI DSS. This image has been hardened to accepted industry standards including the Center for Internet Security benchmarks. This image also comes pre-configured with a hardened installation of Apache web server.

This AMI includes documentation in the default user's home directory. The documentation describes what hardening steps were taken to meet each PCI requirement as well as what actions are still necessary to perform. It also includes example commands that can be used to verify the controls.
