Aspera Faspex On Demand for AWS is a solution for high-speed, global person-to-person file delivery and exchange of large files and directories of any size using the power of Aspera FASP running on AWS. Using Faspex On Demand, users can send and receive large files and directories as digital packages anywhere in the world using the Web interface, an add-in for Microsoft Outlook client, one of the Aspera mobile apps for iOS and Android devices, or Aspera Cargo, a simple automatic desktop download desktop widget. Users create digital packages using the easy to use email-style interface, attach files and data sets of any size and click Send. The files are uploaded and stored in AWS, while an email notification is sent to the recipient. The recipient clicks on the link in the email and downloads the package to their computer or mobile device at high-speed. Users can also easily invite anyone to send packages to them, all they need is a valid email address. Built for workflows of any scale, Aspera Faspex includes comprehensive user and server administration capabilities, and provides comprehensive security and optional encryption of the files over the wire and at rest. Faspex On Demand is available as a paid subscription service based on the amount of data transferred and the instance type and AWS region.
