ONTAP Cloud, the leading enterprise storage software, is deployed using OnCommand Cloud Manager http://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B018REK8QG to deliver secure, proven NFS, CIFS, and iSCSI data management for non-disruptive operation on EBS storage and tier to S3 storage. A software-only storage service for your dev/test, disaster recovery and production applications, ONTAP Cloud combines high-availability (HA) and data control with enterprise-class storage features--such as data deduplication and compression--to minimize your storage footprint. Take snapshots of your data without requiring additional storage or impacting your application's performance. ONTAP Cloud can tie your cloud storage to your data center using the leading NetApp replication protocol, SnapMirror technology. To enhance your data security, ONTAP Cloud offers NetApp-managed encryption of your at-rest storage, while you retain the encryption keys. OnCommand Cloud Manager handles deployment and control of ONTAP Cloud, giving you a simple point-and-click environment to manage your storage and ease control of your data. ONTAP Cloud (HA) offers you the power of ONTAP software with flexible performance for EBS (I01, GP2, ST1) and S3 capacity options: Explore (2TB), Standard (10TB) and Premium (360TB) based on the EC2 instance type chosen.
