Product Overview

The Dbpedia Foundation is an international program to extract data from Wikipedia into a machine readable form. Dbpedia 2016-04 is a vast improvement over previous data sets, but it's also much larger, with over 1 billion facts from the English Wikipedia alone. Traditional SPARQL endpoints, such as the DBpedia public SPARQL endpoint, offer throttled performance over limited data. We offer a full fat, full throttle experience by coupling hardware, software and data on the world's favorite computing cloud. Enjoy writing SPARQL 1.1 queries against DBpedia with the Ontology2 Edition of DBpedia 2016-04. DBpedia has wide coverage of people, places, creative works, life forms, chemical compounds as well as of abstract concepts; thus it is one of the best resources for database and taxonomy builders who are interested in widely known topics of any kind. This AMI is product of our patent pending Real Semantics software, which assembles a number of parts to produce a quality controlled product with an automated and repeatable build system, making it possible for us to produce custom data products and keep them up to date.
