Universal Recommender can be configured to work with applications that require recommendations and can ingest a wide range of user information to provide better recommendations. All required services, including Spark, HDFS, HBase, Elasticsearch, are pre-installed and started automatically on boot. It can also work with any of Apache PredictionIO's Template - providing easy access to a wide variety of Machine Learning algorithms.
