Product Overview

Provides a federated query capability allowing users to access and query data in remote repositories that are part of the Teradata QueryGrid data fabric.

Using SQL, business users can easily access and analyze data across a company without that data having to be on a single platform before analysis.

Teradata QueryGrid allows for pushdown of processing into the remote servers, enabling workloads to leverage the processing power of those servers and decrease data transfer. All data is transferred in parallel between participating systems in the QueryGrid fabric.

Teradata QueryGrid Manager provides a centralized administration and monitoring framework with the ability to quickly set up, monitor, and upgrade the environment. The monitoring capability gives insight into query execution steps, processing times on the local and remote servers, as well as data transfer times.

By using this and other Teradata AMIs, you will be tapping into the core tools needed for the foundation of your analytic success. Note: This AMI uses a 350 GB EBS volume for root disk; Teradata QueryGrid connectivity is licensed separately.
