AppEx CloudWAN Access Windows is a VPN connectivity software running on Windows-based operating system to access AppEx CloudWAN data delivery optimization network.

AppEx CloudWAN is a SD-WAN implementation that integrates with advanced SDN, WAN optimization and ZetaTCP technology to provide customers with a high-quality, reliable and flexible data delivery optimization service.

AppEx CloudWAN can interconnect customer's private networks in different AWS regions and significantly improve the data transport between each two AWS regions. The following are some typical approaches to access AppEx CloudWAN network in AWS Cloud.

• In AWS regions where AWS VPN Gateway is available, recommend to use standard AWS VPN Gateway to access.
• In AWS regions where AWS VPN Gateway is not available, recommend to set up an AWS EC2 instance with Linux-based operating system and deploy Strongswan/Openswan IPSec implementation to access.
• Recommend to use AppEx CloudWAN Access Windows to access if need to transfer data with Windows-based operating system.

Please note: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 are reaching end of support on October 10th 2023. These images will be removed from AWS Marketplace by October 10th, and you will no longer be able to access license included AMIs provided by Amazon after this date.
