Product Overview

Loadbalancer.org's Load Balancer for AWS provides advanced Layer 4 / 7 load balancing, automatically distributing incoming application traffic across multiple Amazon EC2 instances in a single AWS AZ or across multiple Zones. Customers can distribute traffic on the internal Amazon network (saving bandwidth costs) or to any accessible internet address.

Dual AZ mode enables an HA pair of Load Balancer for AWS instances to be split between different AZ's, further increasing system resilience. Full Integration with AWS AutoScaling ensures that servers are automatically added to the load balanced server cluster as backend server capacity is increased to meet inbound traffic demands.

Load Balancer for AWS supports both TCP and UDP enabling you to load balance virtually any protocol. SSL termination & re-encryption coupled with a built-in OWASP top 10 compliant WAF enables you to create a secure, robust interface for your infrastructure. URL re-writing / content switching can be used to control and direct traffic based on the rules defined.

Advanced, customizable health checks enable Load Balancer for AWS to detect unhealthy instances within a pool and automatically reroutes traffic to healthy instances until the unhealthy instances have been restored.

This great product is restricted to 5 clusters each with 4 back end servers while still fully-featured with unlimited throughput, bandwidth & scalability.
