The BIG-IP Cloud Edition is comprised of two components; BIG-IP Per-App VEs & BIG-IQ Centralized Management:

BIG-IP Per-App VEs - Provide intelligent traffic management (BIG-IP LTM) and advanced web application firewall (Advanced WAF) security on a per-app basis. These Per-App VEs deliver the same scalable, secure, and customizable services as F5 physical and virtual ADC's - at a price and in a form factor appropriate for supporting individual apps.

BIG-IQ Centralized Management (CM) - Delivers deployment automation, management, and visibility of the Per-App VE's under its control. BIG-IQ CM provides full lifecycle management of BIG-IP Per-App VEs including rolling instance upgrades, automated spin-up/spin-down and auto scaling of instances based on capacity thresholds. BIG-IQ CM also enables self-service automated provisioning of Per-App VEs using pre-built app templates for individual app owners - including easy-to-view analytics dashboards for managing and troubleshooting apps.
