This is a repackaged open-source software product wherein additional charges apply for support and for providing it in a simple consumable AMI. Prometheus is an open-source system monitoring and alerting application. It is a multi-dimensional data model with time series data identified by metric name and key/value pairs. Here at GlobalSolutions, we have made it easy for our customers to subscribe to our AMI and start collecting AWS Cloud metrics. We have installed and configured Prometheus, Cloudwatch Exporter, and Grafana. The user can subscribe to the service and start gathering the AWS Cloudwatch metrics.
