CentOS 7 with LVM (CentOS 7.8.2003)
Product Overview
This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for technical support and maintenance provided by ProComputers.
This is a minimal CentOS 7 image having the instance volume managed with LVM (Logical Volume Manager). The LVM volumes, as well as corresponding filesystems, are automatically extended if the instance volume is bigger than the default one. To understand how to customise the LVM auto-extending process, please visit http://www.procomputers.com/lvmresize.html.
Root login is disabled and only the 'centos' user is allowed to connect using ssh public key authentication.
Used mainly as a common base system on top of which other appliances could be built and tested. It contains just enough packages to run within AWS, bring up a SSH Server and allow users to login. Cloud-init, as well as the CentOS 7 security updates available at the release date are included.
This CentOS7 AMI is ENA enabled.
Built using CentOS 'Minimal Install' group of packages and a single 8 GiB instance volume.
