CloudSHaper relies on your job scheduler's accounting information to gather details about the jobs that ran on your platform. Then, based on AWS pricing information and benchmarks results, CloudSHaper projects the workloads on different types of AWS EC2 instances to estimate the required resources, the running time and thus the cost of executing the workload on AWS through several placement strategies.
Through the reports generated by CloudSHaper you can dynamically evaluate the cost of several strategies, storage options, remote visualization scenarios.
