Grafana is the industry-leading software for creating professional-looking dashboards based on any time-series database. Once the EC2 instance is is up and running, you can begin sending metrics to this stack using any StatsD client. No further configuration is required (except for limiting the source IP of the inbound ports).

Use UDP on port 8125 for sending metrics to this stack using the below format:

:| can be "c" for the counter, "g" for gauge and "ms" for a time in milliseconds.

So the simplest way to send in metrics from your command line would be:
