The assessment is funded by AWS and only little effort is required on your side. It is perfect for all customers, thinking about migration existing workloads to AWS.
Automated Data Collection
Over a several-week period (typically about 4 weeks) and in compliance with data protection laws, we use the AWS Migration Evaluator to automatically collect performance data relating to servers, their capacity and utilization, and the Microsoft licenses used. The collection can be performed offline.
Reliable Results
With this data, we create possible scenarios tailored to your needs for operating your infrastructure in AWS and provide ideas for optimization (e.g. classic right-sizing, cloud-optimized reducing/reusing Microsoft-licenses or the direct use of AWS-native services such as AWS Backup, Amazon FSx, or Amazon WorkSpaces).
