Hortonworks Data Cloud for AWS is a platform for analyzing and processing data. Hortonworks Data Cloud enables you to quickly launch Apache Hive and Apache Spark clusters (powered by the Hortonworks Data Platform) that are pre-configured and tuned to work with Amazon S3 and Amazon RDS so you can be analyzing data in minutes. This "Hortonworks Data Cloud - HDP Services" product is designed to be used in conjunction with the "Hortonworks Data Cloud - Controller Service" product so you can choose from a set of prescriptive cluster configurations to begin modeling and analyzing data sets. You are able to register for optional free community support after launching an instance of the Controller Service.
