Product Overview
Memory Machine™ Cloud Edition (CE) is a software product from MemVerge that streamlines the deployment of containerized applications (conforming to the OCI image format) in AWS. Memory Machine CE provides:
Automated cloud resource management
Based on your policies, Memory Machine CE identifies, instantiates, and manages the AWS resources needed to run your workloads.
Intelligent job scheduling
Submit batch jobs with Memory Machine CE's built-in job scheduler or use Memory Machine CE's integration with workflow managers such as Cromwell and Nextflow.
Adaptive resource control
Avoid over- or under-provisioning cloud resources by using Memory Machine CE's manual or automatic controls to optimize cloud resources in real-time.
Workload continuity for Spot Instances
Run stateful workloads on low-cost AWS Spot instances and save up to 80% of the cost of On-demand instances. If a Spot Instance is reclaimed, Memory Machine CE's AppCapsule technology transfers the complete job state to a new instance and resumes job execution without loss.
How it Works
Memory Machine CE is secure and private by design. The platform is deployed directly into your AWS account (100% in-tenant), and data, containers, applications, and results never leave your AWS VPC. Subscribers schedule jobs using the Memory Machine CE web interface or CLI.
