GenAI Foundational Workshop for Physical Retail

Centific is excited to present our GenAI Foundational Workshop, specifically designed for physical retail operations on AWS. This workshop provides retail executives with the tools to integrate GenAI into real-world applications on the AWS platform, addressing security and operational pain points that affect both profitability and customer satisfaction.

Our experts will guide you through the capabilities of an AI data foundry platform on AWS, designed to manage complex data, such as security footage and sensor data, and turn it into actionable insights. This data foundry enhances store operations by integrating AI-driven case management to respond swiftly to incidents on AWS, providing a structured ap-proach for security interventions, asset protection, and in-store incident investigation. By consolidating and curating hard-to-find data, this platform also supports predictive asset protection and proactive monitoring, ensuring a safer and more efficient retail environment with AWS services.

The GenAI Workshop consists of a series of joint architecture design meetings, ranging from 1 to 2 hours per session (up to 8 hours total), focusing on the following domains:

• Data Modernization: Prepare your data platforms to scale AI for asset protection and incident investigation, making security data—from CCTV footage to POS systems—accessible, manageable, and analyzable.

• Data Supply: Build effective data pipelines that consolidate in-store data, including loss prevention reports, foot traffic analytics, and security sensor data. This empowers your AI models to identify patterns in customer and employee behavior, optimize store layout, and improve incident tracking.

Model Fine-Tuning:Customize AI models to address retail-specific operational challenges, such as enhancing loss prevention strategies, detecting unusual activities, and reducing theft. Fine-tuning models for accuracy enables better detection and response to suspicious patterns in real time.

• Infrastructure & Deployment: Implement best practices for deploying GenAI in physical environments, ensuring high-performance and secure AI systems that support real-time response to incidents and optimize store operations.

• GenAI Agents & Chatbots: Deploy AI-powered agents for tasks like customer assistance, incident logging, and operational support. These agents can assist security staff by notifying them of potential incidents, tracking asset movement, and automating case management.

Each session focuses on discovery, design, and education tailored to physical retail, illustrating how an AI data foundry platform can address operational complexities, support effective loss prevention, and enhance both customer and employee safety.

• Technical Deep-Dive Discovery Sessions: These collaborative workshops with Centific’s AI experts will align your GenAI strategy with retail goals, such as efficient asset management, improved incident response, and streamlined case documentation for theft and loss incidents.

• Future-State Architecture Diagram: A detailed framework, customized to your store environment, covering real-time incident monitoring, asset tracking, and operational efficiency strategies to support security and store management.

The workshop is structured to be completed in approximately two weeks, depending on the availability of your project sponsor and technical teams. An 8-hour onsite, in-person session option is also available.

Following the workshop, typical next steps include proof-of-concept deployments to demonstrate the AI-driven solutions' real-world benefits, followed by full production implementation. These steps provide a smooth transition from concept to production, enabling your team to respond swiftly to in-store incidents, optimize asset protection, and improve overall store operations.
