Overview
Blockstack is a new decentralized internet, where users own their data and apps run on user devices without the need for hosting. Developers can build serverless apps without the need to trust any centralized services or infrastructure. Blockstack Core is the reference implementation of Blockstack. It is responsible for processing blockchain transactions, creating virtualchain state, and building the peer network amongst other things. Blockstack Core provides a RESTful interface for clients and also comes with a command-line-interface (CLI).

Emerging Platform For Decentralized Apps, But Needs a Bit More Work!
We wanted to solve the problem of creating decentralized workplace tools for enterprise and small businesses through software-as-a-service. We solved the age-old problem of authentication and authorization for saaS apps by using Blockstack's SSO solution. We realize this has saved us HOURS of overhead in development and production publication. We look forward to using Blockstack even more in the future.
