To avoid the long delay of syncing nodes from Genesis, this nodes offers a checkpoint sync option, to get your nodes working in hours not days.

With checkpoint sync configured, your beacon node will begin syncing from a recently finalized checkpoint instead of syncing from genesis. This will make the process of syncing beacon node much faster. Using checkpoint sync Launchnodes Beacon node take around 10 minutes to sync to the latest head and Geth takes approximately 48hrs.

The Beacon Chain coordinates the network, and manages Proof of Stake for Ethereum. Launchnodes provides a pre-configured Geth client (exeuction layer) running alongside a Prysmatic Labs client (consensus layer) to run Beacon nodes that can connect to validator nodes to start earning staking rewards.
