This is the Ubuntu 18.04 LTS x86_64 HVM AMI that has been built with a minimal profile, suitable for use in HVM instance types only. The image contains just enough packages to run within AWS, bring up an SSH Server and allow users to login.
It provides a stable, secure, and high performance execution environment for all workloads.

Please note that this is the default Ubuntu 18.04 LTS AMI that our security professionals recommend. Atomized provides ongoing security and maintenance updates on a regular basis to all instances running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS AMIs.
