Product Overview

With Greenplum your Cloud Data Warehouse can be up and running in minutes. Simply choose the EC2 instance type, instances size and number of instances required and sit back while the AMI and Cloud Formation Template do the rest.

Greenplum scales from a single EC2 instance to as many needed to meet your performance and capacity requirements. You can also use your favourite SQL client meaning no new skills or tools are required. As Greenplum is based on Postgres, PGAdmin can be used to perform DBA duties.

The clustered architecture allows Greenplum to scale from Gigabytes to Petabytes, with no changes required to table structures or SQL queries.

For the end user, data stored in S3 can be queried in situ using external tables. Columnar & row storage models and data compression are supported. Data Science can be carried out in-database with Python, R & Apache MADlib.

For system administrators, OS level access is supported via SSH to the EC2 instances. EC2 instance types with persistent storage are also offered.

The Greenplum Cloud Data Warehouse offers a unique combination of ease of use, scalability, flexibility, accessibility, features and price transparency.
