The Data and Analytics Primer is simple way to get (re)started on your enterprise data and analytics journey. Rather than just focus on the tech, or the advice, we combine the two to create immediate business value and help show you a way forward.
Our data maturity assessment is based on industry best practice, and covers the areas of: Strategy, Governance, Architecture, Culture, Lifecycle management and Quality.
An assessment report is produced that maps your organizational data maturity on a 1-5 scale for each criteria. Based on the assessment, recommendations and priotised next steps are provided.
The data and analytics proof of concept uses a templated infrastructure-as-code approach to implement a serverless data lake architecture and an extract, load, transform (ELT) ingestion approach. Specific AWS products used in the PoC are: Lake Formation, Glue, Athena, S3, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, EventBridge, Simple Notification Service, Identity and Access Manager, Cost Explorer, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and a PoC and customer VPC (if required).
Appreciating the differences in the types and complexity of organizations who may use the Data and Analytics Primer, we offer 3 size and scale-based bundles:
- Small: Delivery over 4-6 weeks. Digital survey only for maturity assessment. 1 structured data source & 1 dashboard of low complexity.
- Medium: Delivery over 6-8 weeks. Digital survey + executive workshop for maturity assessment. 1 structured data source + 1 of either unstructured or streaming data source. 2 dashboards of low to moderate complexity.
- Large: Delivery over 8-10 weeks. Digital survey + exec workshop + 5 stakeholder workshops for the maturity assessment. 1 structured data source + 1 unstructured data source + 1 streaming data source. 3 dashboards of moderate complexity.
