What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Miro for many years with my team. As a UX researcher I think that Miro an excellent collaborative visual tool where I can collate research ideas and plans. I also use Miro with end users 1:1 and in group sessions. Miro board is at tims for us the core communications tool throughout a project life cycle. Miro is easy to use, new users (clients and research participants onboard pretty smoothly).
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. I would love to be able to copy-paste comments as we cycle through versions of a sitemap, at the moment these need to be individually dragged into each version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro provides a home for extensive project data in a visual way as we journey through the entire life cycle. The range of features and visual nature make it an excellent meeting place for research and design minds in our team.

I love that miro is super easy to use. It helps me strategize + create many different things and share them with my clients.I also love that it is available on my phone
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside is the larger boards can cause my computer to slow down. There are so many features it can be overwhelming but this is a good problem to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Each client I work with is unique. So there is a lot of room to create new, innovative paths for each one of them.

    Perfect Digital Whiteboarding Tool

    Reviewed on Feb 05, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Miro in all of my marketing roles over the last 3 years. It is great for talking through customer journeys, presentations, and collaborating. It's basically a digital whiteboarding tool, but it keeps all of my ideas neat and organized. This is essential for the type of projects that I work on.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a limit on the number of boards on the free account. I use this with several of my marketing clients that I use my own email address with, so this becomes problematic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a digital whiteboard. It helps me with brainstorming, presentations, and mapping customer journeys as a preliminary to writing marketing plans/strategies.

highly visual and flexible collaboration platform

    Reviewed on Feb 05, 2025
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
Miro offers an intuitive, drag-and-drop interface that makes it simple for teams to jump in and start collaborating. While the learning curve is slightly steeper than Lucidspark, it remains approachable for most users. It is relatively easy to set up, especially for smaller teams. The browser-based nature eliminates most IT hurdles, though enterprises may face some complexities in rollout. Templates, canvases, real-time collaboration, and integrations with tools like Jira, Slack, and Microsoft Teams make it feature rich. However, the vast number of features can sometimes be overwhelming for new users. It is highly useful for teams that frequently engage in ideation, process mapping, and remote workshops. However, for day-to-day project management, tools like Asana or Notion may be better suited. It connects well with many third-party apps, but deeper integrations (e.g., full bi-directional sync with tools like Salesforce) could be improved. Support is generally responsive, but response times can lag for non-enterprise users.
What do you dislike about the product?
The breadth of features is a double-edged sword. While powerful, it can make onboarding daunting, especially for users who just need a simple whiteboarding tool. Miro’s pricing scales quickly for larger teams, making alternatives like Lucidspark or Mural more attractive for budget-conscious organizations. As boards grow in complexity, performance can lag, particularly in browser-based use. Heavy users may notice slow load times and lag when working on extensive diagrams. Unlike some competitors, Miro requires an internet connection for most features, which can be a drawback for users who need offline access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves collaboration and brainstorming challenges by providing an infinite canvas for teams to visually organize ideas, streamline workflows, and align faster, boosting clarity and efficiency.
