An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
- When launching via the EC2 Launcher.
- Under "Advanced details" use the "UserData" configuration field to set the password for the default admin account (lhadmin) by adding password=<password_text>
If the password for the default admin account was not specified in the UserData during launch, it can be set after launch with the included ogpasswd utility.
- Connect to the instance via an SSH client using the default admin account (lhadmin) and your ssh key.
- Set a password for the admin account by executing the command "ogpasswd -u lhadmin -p examplePassword" replacing examplePassword with a password of your choice.
