Waste of time

Wasted over 30 minutes on this, no instructions other than point browser to public DNS of instance. Once the self-signed cert is accepted and the login page is shown, attempted to login as "admin" with EC2 instance ID as directed; all that happens is:

"We're sorry, but something went wrong."

Overpriced nonsense

Stop. Do not use this. It is saving you approximately 15 minutes of work for a massive price increase. Chef Server is available for free from Chef Software Inc at http://downloads.getchef.com/.

Chef Server Quickstart

Easy way to get started quickly with Chef Server. Everything works just fine. Just remember you'll have to use an m1.medium at least and the user is 'ubuntu'.
