Helped to get started but RDS became expensive on AWS later.
We tried a few other vendors to get started with LAMP on our pre-production environment while we were on boostrapping mode with our startup last year. After trying two others this one got to work successfully. We had few months of the free tier left so didn't realize the cost of the deployment until the free tier expired. Although there was hardly any actual storage being used, the deployment configuration on AWS was costing over 100$/month. So, maybe someone from the vendor's deployment team could revisit the RDS configuration on AWS marketplace as it might help in addressing those developers/startups who are bootstrapping and need some cloud capacity to play with.
