I have not yet tried the other possibilities of Bitnami image deployment beside AWS but so far very pleasant experience with this useful image of latest version of stable JBoss AS 7.1 plus everything what is necessary to build a complete stack: Java 7, Apache HTTPD, MySQL on Ubuntu Linux controlled by an execution script.

Actually my first experience with 3rd party image - however very good one - will recommend it in the future also to my colleagues.

Ready for use in one moment.
Works fine everything: mysql, jboss and apache. Useful the common script to start/stop the applications.
Good for me.
