Be careful when setting this up in a "private" network.

Once the product was up and running, it provided a nice interface for users to manage some of the high-level functions of the server. For our purposes, it did not provide any more functionality or ease of use than what we had already setup using open source tools.

A word of caution -- be careful when you deploy this into a private network setup. If you have no publicly accessible route, you may encounter stumbling blocks when trying to administer the server. The private IP is used by default when creating the links within the administration panel which makes it difficult to navigate. Additionally, SSH is not enabled by default, so gaining shell access is not available until it is enabled. Those two problems rendered my first installation virtually useless and required a reinstall.

When all was said and done, I had an OpenLDAP server running with PHPLDAPAdmin -- both of which I had already installed and configured on my own. I suppose I was expecting more out of the administration interface. The software is probably a great solution for those needing a quick LDAP server without wanting to deal with everything necessary to build one on your own.
