With Vyatta you can reduce latency and save money by routing traffic directly from VPC to VPC, stop paying for multiple AWS VPN Gateways by terminating multiple VPN tunnels in Vyatta, and use Vyatta for secure remote access and Layer-2 cloud bridging.

Works well
No complaints so far. It doesn't seem completely necessary for all AWS users, but I can think of some example businesses/setups that could certainly use the product.
