GitLab powered by Bitnami (PV)
Bitnami by VMware | 8.7.4-0 on Ubuntu 14.04.3Linux/Unix, Ubuntu 14.04.3 - 32-bit Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Not a User
I wanted to have this up and running in my instance, but turns out this package creates its own instance instead of using an already working instance.
So I went ahead and installed Gitlab into my existing instance and it works flawlessly.
5 star for the idea and implementation.

Great product!!
I wanted to add my own version control system and Gitlab was my first choice to implement.
After some searchs I came upon Bitnami's gitlab box and it was indeed as they advertized! Few clicks to install with AWS! And it is completly free! Amazing product thank you bitnami!
sendmail
I had to install sendmail manually to allow GitLab to send e-mails to users. Other than that, it is working fine so far.
Please add support for new t2 instances ASAP!
So far I like the software, but because it is marketplace I'm restricted from using the new t2.micro instance types which would save me some money. Please allow these new instance types!
Pretty cool
The GitLab image worked for me right out of the box, and I've had no trouble with it so far. Of course, I can't say that I've put it under much of a load or anything, but it seems to work great. The built-in Gitlab CI installation is nice, too. With just a little bit of setup, my server is ready to build anything I throw at it.
Good but sendmail not working
GitLab itself is fine but send email command is not implement and the server is not able to send emails, unless you decide to dig deep and change some settings.
