Works well enough once you figure it out
Not exactly turn key but close enough. After many failed attempts at setting up our own VPN first using the AWS solution then trying others this one finally sealed the deal. The reason is quote simple. No other VPN was so easy to setup that used IPSEC, allowed simple out "in the wild" connections via a simple client (Tunnelblick) and also allowed us to setup a simple server at the office to keep that connected as well. For the small price to pay for the license its well worth it considering the effort and time we spend trying to roll our own.
The only real tricky part was finding out how to pay for the license and activate it by adding meta data to the instance through they key value store. Other than that it was pretty turn-key.
