Univa Grid Engine One Click HPC Head Node
Univa Corporation | 8.0.1p6 - updatedLinux/Unix, CentOS 5.5 - 64-bit Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Good for demos and training sessions.
It is pretty easy to create a general purpose compute cluster using this AMI, but it is a little confusing because you have to accept terms and conditions on both the head node and the compute node AMIs. Once that is out of the way the system auto configures everything on boot. Since it is a command line I found that you need help from Univa to understand how to use the system. It would be nice if a monitoring and simple management GUI was included in the AMI.
