This is a very bad image. I tried twice to launch. it's not working either time.
I end up spending double the money.

Great product but reently Server is very unstable
A year ago I have setup this VPN server for my client without any issue. It was very straight forward. (Launch instance of type TurnKey Open VPN from Amazon Marketplace, login as root, follow screen instruction, finally add user with 'openvpn-addclient client-name client-email' command.). The server is still running today and no downtime!
However I been trying to setup another client this week and the server is very unstable. When server is ready I can login as root but after a min or two I get kicked out (connection lost). I can't relogin unless I reboot the server again. The server crashes after few min. The server sometime refuses to shutdown from EC2 console! An update is overdue from turnkey.
Turnkey OpenVPN was great for me as a startup company setting up SSL VPN on AWS
I started a new company and set up my first EC2, RDS and Redshift instances in AWS. I wanted an easy to setup and use free VPN solution so that my developer team could access the dev environment securely and I could keep some of my dev instances isolated from inbound public Internet access.
Turnkey's packaging and bundling of the openVPN server enabled me to be up and running with a dead simple and working solution out of the box in less than 30 minutes.
Fast and Easy
I was able to have an EC2 instance setup and working in a few minutes. The connection is very stable and so far everything is ok. Good product.
Easy to handle and versatile
The image is easy to install. Less experienced developers get a pre-defined working VPN solution.
Contains a web interface for easy creation and download of new SSL key pairs.
Not included, but desirable, is a step-by-step configuration guide for integration with Amazon VPC.
