True Cost Savings + Performance
We run our own infrastructure and came across Noction's fancy IRP previously but didn't have the budget to deploy it in our network. When I saw they launched on AWS I thought I'd give it a shot.
Quite straightforward to set-up and get running. I had the stack creation failed once for setting a wrong parameter but if you follow the setup guide you will be OK in the first run.
The dashboard offers insights on improvements, both in numbers and graphs, which I did find to be pretty awesome. There isn't a lot you can configure though, as their IRP engine does most of the routing decisions.
The pricing tiers are the same as AWS's in terms of GB or TB volume but Noction offers a 22% discount for my Tier (up to 10TB/month). AWS would charge me 9c per GB while Noction charges 7c per GB.
You can stop the instance and routing will return to the AWS's default gateway, it's all pretty fail safe from what I can tell.
