Excellent product
I needed to run some software which is only certified for Redhat Enterprise Linux. It runs perfectly on this AMI without any problems.
The AMI comes configured with minimal extras which was perfect as it saved me from having to spend any time removing things that I didn't need for my use case.
This is an excellent AMI and I am very happy with it.

Works great as expacted
I am using CentOS since a couple of years. And as expected, the Images for the the EC2 instance works seamlessly!
Best CentOS AMI
I am a fan of CentOS and was very happy when this AMI became available. THe setup was simple, and has been very stable.
I would strongly recommend this AMI for anyone who likes the RedHat family of Linux but does not need to run RHEL.

This is good opportunity from amazon site for learning some thing. its improve our cloud computing environments with Linux infrastructure.
Nice and bare bones
This one is for the people who know linux. Not much coming out of the box. I used it for node.js server, and it is nice not having all sorts of stuff running that I will never use.

Great Image
This image rocks, I am using it for all my tiers, from web app caching to databases, I would recommend it to anyone
Centos Official AMI + Updates
The product installed without issues and I recommend it to anyone that has a CentOS specific need.
I prefer using the Official CentOS AMI without updates but this might be what you need.
Else just use AWS Linux.
This CentOS_6 image is great!
This CentOS_6 image is great. I was able to install it and setup it quickly (within about 20 minutes). At this time, it is 6.3 by default. "yum update" brought it up to 6.4. Using the EBS-based of 10 GB with a medium-size EC2 is perfect. I like the fact that I was able to control exactly when I install from the beginning to the end. Thanks for CentOS.org
Clean CentOS 6
Good clean install of CentOS 6.
Only complaint would be that it comes up with only a root account which you have to log in by remotely, it would be nicer if it had a non-privileged ec2-user account as the default, with remote ssh logins by root disabled.
