Great but a bit behind
This is behind the current CentOS, but does what it says! Nothing a simple 'yum update' can not fix.
Operating System BUG
When I attach many volumes and restart the server, the SSH does not work more. It's a big problem for me.

RAM issue related with medium and large instance
There is a problem with EC2 medium instance because there is no possibility to add 3,5 GB of RAM to it.
Each time when you need to use low CPU (2 ECU) and use bigger RAM space you are not able to do it.
In the other hand you can use large instance BUT it breakes the licence limit that we have for our software.
Please do something with this issue. I think the other type of medium (2ECU) instnace with bigger ram space will be very usefull for customers.

A full functional and reliable CentOS
A full functional and reliable CentOS installation, without the hassle of creating an initial CentOS AMI by yourself. It is easy to take this CentOS AMI as a reference for all your installation scenarios, and customize it -- or update it -- as you go along.
Centos Official AMI
The product installed without issues and I recommend it to anyone that has a CentOS specific need.
Else just use AWS Linux.

Brilliant
Clean install image. Doesn't contain any of the motd or sshd_banners that other AMIs have. Installs a minimum amount of packages and lets you handle things yourself, the way it should be.
The Centos part is great. The marketplace restriction is horrible.
GPL states that you cannot create anti-circumvention on this software. (Section 3 of the GPL) With Amazon Marketplace, if you try to attach this image that is created after deployment to a second drive, Amazon has restrictions on this. "Vol-ID" with Marketplace codes may not be attached as a secondary device.
Amazon needs to rethink this "circumvention technology" in light of GPL-based Software.
